Technology planning and software advice
A clear plan before your next technology decision.
A renewal is coming up. Your team wants a new system. Two proposals look reasonable, but you are not sure what the business actually needs. I help you work through the decision, understand the tradeoffs, and agree on a practical next step.
Based in Southern Oregon, I work directly with business owners and their teams locally and across the US. We start with how your business works, the people using the tools, and the result you need.

Before comparing products, we talk about the tasks, handoffs, and frustrations behind the request. I ask what is working, where information gets lost, and what people need from a better setup.
For example, if your team enters the same customer details in several places, buying a new CRM may be only one option. We can first review whether your current tools or a different process could meet the need.
Compare the full commitment
A monthly subscription price rarely explains the whole decision. We can review licensing, setup, training, migration, support responsibilities, renewal terms, and access to your information if you later change providers.
I help translate those details into questions for vendors and a comparison tied to your requirements. The aim is to understand what you would be paying for and what your team would need to make it useful.
Know what you will receive
Before paid work begins, we agree on the scope, cost, timing, and deliverables. Depending on the decision, the work can include a requirements list, a comparison of proposals, a review of existing subscriptions, or a prioritized technology plan.
Recommendations explain the reasoning and tradeoffs. Where a change needs technical implementation, we clarify responsibilities with your existing IT provider or the vendor involved. Day-to-day support and monitoring remain with your support provider.
Bring the question you are trying to answer
You do not need a finished project brief. An upcoming renewal, a proposal you have received, or a process that is slowing your team down is enough to start the conversation.
If we decide to work together, I will explain which information would be useful for the agreed review. That might include current subscriptions, proposals, or input from the people who use the systems.
